It is likely that William Cross is either the one baptised at Wicken 1st November 1761 (parents William & Martha née Haylock or the one baptised at Wicken 12th December 1762 (parents Thomas & Elizabeth - probably née Bullman).

I have not found any evidence to indicate which of these is the right one.
