Edward May and Jane Cheesman married in 1756 at West Hoathly.

Although there are a few baptisms of Edward May and Jane Cheesman in Sussex and neighbouring counties, none of ones I have found are particularly close to West Hoathly. I think it most likely that Edward May was the one baptised at Hurstpierpoint in 1730 and that Jane Cheesman was the Jene Cheesman baptised at Warnham in 1739.
