The marriage parish register entry shows the bridegroom as Edward rather than Edmund but I believe that to be incorrect.

I have not found any baptisms of a Susannah Hill near to Maldon but looking further afield, there is a baptism of Susanna Hills in 1748 at West Bergholt (west of Colchester) and a quaker baptism of Susannah Hill at Coggeshall in 1748. There are also baptisms at Walthamstow, Clavering and Prittlewell but these seem less likely.
