EDWIN BOND
The authorities described him as an "incorrigible rogue". He was prosecuted many times for indecent exposure and spent many periods in prison. He did 3 months in 1912, 9 months in 1912/13, 3 months in 1915, 3 months in 1917, 6 months in 1921, 3 months in 1924 and 9 months in 1927. Maybe there were later offences that I haven't found. He had married in 1906 and had a daughter. I suspect the marriage did not last. In 1939 he was in the Poplar Institution (previously a workhouse) but his wife, if I have found the right person, was listed as a widow.
