The death registration for Elizabeth Stanley in May 1799 indicates that she was 59 years old at the time of her death. This may, of course, be a guess if her family did not actually know her age. In looking for a baptism between May 1739 (or a little earlier) and May 1740 I did not find any close to Carshalton in that period although there was one at St Sepulchre in Holborn and one at St George Hanover Square. However, there was one at nearby Croydon in 1738 and a couple at Bermondsey in 1741/1742.

Accordingly I cannot be certain that any of these is the right baptism.
