ANN JACKSON
Identifying Ann's parents and siblings is something of a minefield!
A second cousin of my wife is in possession of a bible presented to Ann's sister, Eliza, by her mother in 1841 and it lists Ann's siblings with their dates of birth. I have based the family tree on this information but it leaves a number of queries unanswered.
I have found baptisms for some, but not all of these siblings. In all cases the mother is shown as Mary but for some the father is Thomas while for others the father is Benjamin Thomas. In all cases the father is either shown as a gun maker or not shown. In 1841 Maria and Eliza are still living 'at home' with father Thomas (aged 60 = 1776 to 1781) and mother Mary. The baptisms are shown below, with births being in the year of baptism except for John & Maria.
St Leonard Shoreditch | St Mary Whitechapel | St Botolph Aldgate

Father's name | |||
Thomas | Ann (1806) William (1823) Lavinia (1823) | Maria (1828 born 1821)
Benjamin Thomas | Hannah (1814) | Elizabeth (1812) John (1826 born 1816) | Mary (1810) |
I have not found baptism register entries for Thomas (born 1808), Sarah (born 1818) or Eliza (born 1827).
The father is evidently Benjamin Thomas, sometimes preferring to be just Thomas. But things are not quite that straightforward! In 1814, Hannah was baptised on 18th September, having been born 4th September 1814; however, in July 1814 Benjamin Jackson was baptised at St James, Piccadilly having been born 1st July 1814 to Thomas and Mary, Thomas being shown as a gun smith! So it would seem that we have two Jacksons whose occupation is to do with guns, one called Thomas and the other Benjamin Thomas who calls himself Thomas on occasions, both married to a Mary. It doesn't help that there is another Benjamin married to a Mary with several children baptised at St Leonard Shoreditch. Fortunately he is not a gun maker and his second forename is Ivon.
Benjamin Thomas Jackson married Mary Pearce at St Leonard Shoreditch in 1805 but a Thomas Jackson married Mary Stevens in 1799 at the same church and these are presumably the parents of Thomas Jackson born in 1801 and baptised at St Leonard Shoreditch in 1802 (and the register entry shows the father as a gun maker). Thomas junior married Mary Uffington in 1826 at St Mary, Bryanston Square, Westminster. He is shown in the 1841 census aged 35 (= 1801 to 1806) as a gun maker with Mary and several children who were baptised at Bryanston Square.
Thomas junior's siblings may include Benjamin baptised in 1814 at St James Piccadilly - see above. Thomas senior and Benjamin Thomas both being gun makers are probably related but I haven't found any evidence to support that.
