I have found two possible Parish Register entries for Sarah's baptism: one in 1698 at Trowbridge and the other in 1699 at Marlborough. Trowbridge is 30+ miles from Great Bedwyn; Marlborough is only 7 miles away. I would therefore have thought that the Marlborough one was more likely. However, looking at family trees on Ancestry it appears that only one or two have gone for Marlborough while over 30 have gone for Trowbridge. Have I missed something?
