Neither Edward Knight or Alse Clarke appears to have been baptised in Great Bedwyn. There are possible baptisms elsewhere but none particularly close to Great Bedwyn.

There is the baptism of an Edward Knight at Ham (about 5 miles from Great Bedwyn) in 1628 but that would make him only 12 at the time of his marriage.
