There were many Everett families (with various spellings) in Essex. The nearest relevant baptism of a Samuel Everett that I have found was at Coggeshall (about 13miles from Little Baddow) in 1731 (parents Thomas & Mary) when Samuel was aged 17 so he was not necessarily born there. However, there were Everett families living much closer so it is possible that Samuel belonged to one of these and either wasn't baptised or the cleric failed to enter the baptism in the parish register. There was a family living at Danbury (only 2 miles away from Little Baddow) and at least two families with baptisms at Boreham (less than 3 miles away) where one of the fathers was a Samuel.

Consequently I would need more evidence before assuming the Coggeshall baptism is the correct choice.
