It would appear that the Burnham Parish Registers for marriages between 1754 and 1774 have been lost for ever; even the Essex Records Office does not have a copy. It is quite possible that John Richmond married a Hannah at Burnham in this period in which case I cannot find the maiden name of Hannah. There are Hannah baptisms at Burnham at around the right time but not of a John Richmond. There is a Jonathan Richmond baptised in 1736 (but he was buried the next year) and a John baptised in 1746 but this is not consistent with the age at death of 94 years which makes the birth around 1739. The "John Richman" baptised at St Peter Colchester in 1740 is another possibility (parents John & Rose née Bowler).
There is a marriage of John Richmond to Hannah Pool in 1755 at nearby Purleigh but it surprising that they had no children until 1769 and John would have been exceptionally young to be married then, even more so as he was a widower in 1755.
