I have not found a plausible baptism for Thomas Stimpson but I suspect that he is a brother to Sarah, Joseph, Richard, Elizabeth, James and Hannah, children of Thomas & Sarah, who were baptised at Woolbeding (see separate family tree). Perhaps he was never baptised or the baptism was never recorded.

Likewise I have not found a convincing marriage of Thomas to Jane but a possibility is a marriage to Jane Vans at Lurgashall in 1787, where the bridegroom's name is far from clear (transcribed on Ancestry as Temson).
