There were two people called Mary Carell baptised at St Thomas the Apostle, Exeter in 1715. In both cases the spelling used was Carrell.

The first was baptised 27th February 1714 (at the time when years did not change until March/April so we would have called it 1715) the father being Jonathan. At that time the names of mothers were not being recorded. However, there occurred on 28th February 1735(1736), at the same church, the burial of Mary Carell, wife of Jonathan.

The second was baptised 7th June 1715, the father being John.
