I was anticipating that Carrie Phillips would be related to her Mother-in-Law, Ruth Phillips, but this does not appear to be the case. It would appear that Carrie's birth was registered at Dubbo, New South Wales in 1888, her parents being Simeon & Roseita Phillips but I have not established any connection to Ruth or her father.
