I have assumed that this William is the son of William and Rose but I do not have any definite evidence as he does not appear to have been baptised. However, William & Rose's family appears to be the only Rackham family in the village. William (junior) has clear links to the family as in 1818 his future wife, Elizabeth Tye, was a witness at John's marriage; the other witness was a Fenn and both witnesses at William's marriage in 1822 were Fenns.
