The photographs on this page come from an album prepared by Elizabeth Sternberg née Plucknett (1829-1888) for the 21st birthday of her daughter Alice Plucknett Sternberg in 1877. The album is in the possession of a descendant of Elizabeth who has put some of the pictures in the album on the internet and has kindly supplied me with some others.
